Sheila Mae, while growing up in Washington, D.C., had the opportunity to study acting, theater, singing and voice throughout the District, Maryland, Virgina area. One of the schools mostly noted for talented students during high school years was Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts. The other was HBCU Howard University. While continuing her life in the D.C. area, she subsequently landed principal roles in two major independent films and appearing as an extra in several blockbuster movies. She also had a principal role in theater at Prince George's Community College.

 Now retired from a career in law enforcement, she is an actress, singer, and author.
